Zebrie Sanders and Steven Baker work out for Giants

Zebrie Sanders, an offensive tackle out of Florida State, worked out for the Giants today, according to Aaron Wilson of The Baltimore Sun.

Steven Baker, another tackle, this one out of East Carolina, also worked out for the Giants, Wilson said.

Sanders was a fifth-round pick in the 2012 draft by the Buffalo Bills. He spent the entire 2012 season on the injured reserve with a hip injury. The Bills released him on August 31.

Baker was an undrafted free agent in 2012 who was released by the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.

This makes sense since the Giants only have eight healthy offensive linemen with David Diehl out until October with a bad thumb. They are probably going to have an open roster spot soon with either RB Andre Brown or TE Adrien Robinson going on IR.

This guy’s name is really Steven Baker? Funny. The TD Maker who played here in the late 80’s, early 90’s spelled his first name Stephen, btw….
