As per NFL reporter Ian Rapoport, the NFL Draft will be on the move in 2015. Chicago and Los Angeles are being named as possibilities to host the event, with New York still in the mix, just not at Eadio City Music Hall where it has been held since 2006. The draft has been held in various locations in NYC since 1965.

I’ll admit, the draft did not have the same vibe this year, having been moved back two weeks from the last weekend in April to the second weekend in May. Many media members were also taken aback by the accommodations this year. The media section was moved from the left orchestra up to the second mezzanine in favor of placing fans closer to the stage. As fate would have it, those fans still ardently booed NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell when he appeared on stage to open the festivities.
