Peyton Hillis, Trindon Holliday and Xavier Grimble are all not practicing with the team on Thursday (Raanan, August 14).
Hillis is out with an ankle sprain, which is going to keep him out “a while,” according to head coach Tom Coughlin.
Grimble is working with a hamstring issue.

Hillis’ injury remains a concern. A high ankle sprain usually includes some type of ligament damage. Coughlin seems reluctant to put a time frame on how long Hillis will be out, which means he’s hurt worse than the team originally thought. They are going to have make a decision on him soon.
Holliday did not impress as a receiver, and with Preston Parker, Odell Beckham, Jr. and others in line to return, he could end up on the outside looking in before long.
I am going to suspect Grimble is headed for IR. He’s not going to play this week, meaning he’s missed too much time for a rookie. The Giants would like to keep him, so season-ending IR will be the best place to do that.
