Giants Fully Aware That Fate is in Their Own Hands

The Giants are preparing for tomorrow night’s game with the Green Bay Packers with blinders on. They don’t care what the rest of the NFC East is doing of who plays or doesn’t play for the Packers tomorrow night.

”Take care of your own business, that’s what I learned a long time ago,” said head coach Tom Coughlin. His message is quite clear. Win and don’t look back.

“We’re not even worried about where we’re at right now,” said DE Jason Pierre-Paul. “Let’s just go out there and play like a team that’s the underdogs and we’re losing right now. That can get over your head, but we need to just go out there and play as a team and play as one. Let’s win these games that we know we can win if we put our minds and our hearts to it. It’s up to us.”

RB Ahmad Bradshaw, who is finally well-rested and raring to go, knows if the Giants win, everything will fall into place on its own.

“On that aspect, we don’t really pay attention to it. We just worry about what we can do. We just want to take advantage of this right now. It’s a big opportunity, so why not?”

“I really think it’s a big game for us,” safety Kenny Phillips said. “We definitely want to keep the advantage over both teams, because Washington is right behind us also now, and we also play them next week. To win this game and hopefully win the game next week would put us where we want to be.”

“Huge game,” said DE Osi Umenyiora. “A lot at stake and I’m anxious to see how we come out and play because I feel like we need to respond to the key games that we’ve lost and we also need to prove that we are still world champions and play like it at some point and hopefully this will be the game.”
