Frustration multiplies for former Giants back Brandon Jacobs

Brandon Jacobs expressed frustration when he was not activated during the Giants-49ers game in October.

The former Giants running back, who left the Super Bowl champions to join the team they defeated in the NFC Championship game, was stuck on the bottom of the depth chart and failed to see the field for the first half of the season.

‘Tis December now, and in his role with his new team, Jacobs has tallied all of five carries for seven yards; his season-high rush is a mere 3 yards.

As New York fans know all too well, Jacobs has finally aired his discontent with Instagram as his social medium.

“I am on this team rotting away so why would I wanna put any pics up of anything that say niners,” Jacobs wrote on Instagram, CSN Bay Area reported. “This is by far the worst year I ever had, I’ll tell you like I told plenty others.”

Jacobs was activated when second-string running back Kendall Hunter was lost for the season. Frank Gore retained his role as the starter and Anthony Dixon has assumed the back-up role.

Rookie LaMichael James is expected to be activated for the first time this season, leaving Jacobs’ role undefined.

“I am a competitive person, I think people should be mad if I didn’t wanna play, but I forgot the people that’s pissed they don’t have a athletic bone and their body,” Jacobs wrote on Twitter. “As for all of my Instaram photos I don’t have any niner pics, if you’ll find me some pics I’ll put them up.”
