Cruz knocked out of game with possible concussion

Giants WR Victor Cruz was escorted into the locker room after he was slammed to the ground attempting to catch a high throw from Eli Manning in the 3rd Qtr…more to come…

3:37…..Cruz has been ruled out with both a concussion and a knee sprain

From Rotoworld:

“Cruz was concussed at the end of a 16-yard reception that was later overturned when Pete Carroll challenged it. Cruz banged his head on the turf, was down for a few minutes, and then walked gingerly to the locker room. The Giants have announced Cruz will not return. Cruz leaves fantasy owners with just two receptions for 25 yards in Week 15.”

Just checked Cleveland's Blog. Literally everyone there wants Wiggings lol.

Irving + Wiggins will be scary.

And I thought Kerr was supposed to be a class act :-/

Piggy backing of Biggie's post.

What if Cleveland ent offers from the #1 pick, should the Knicks pick up the phone for Melo. I say no but curious to hear y'all thoughts on that.

Melo haters please give a logical reason why and don't comment on pure hate for hom.

Heat are tired...too bad they don't have Mikey and the bulls mojo...Lebron looks like he did In Cleveland...frustrated

Sandro where you at!

I'm down to make a bet that Cavs will make the wrong draft pick.

Can the heat actually lose this series?

Lebron, Kyrie and Wiggins?

If I'm Cleveland, I'm thinking the OKC route and go Wiggins to pair with Irving.

Philly must be elated. Parker or Wiggings would be perfect fits for them and they are almost guaranteed either one.

Imagine MCW-Parker-Noel. Now that's a core

If I'm Dan Gilbert, I play the actual lottery lol. This is nuts

A 1.8 percent lmao. The knicks wouldn't even be mentioned in the lottery even if they did have a pick

Bill Simmons is so mad celtics got a bad pick. Lmao I love it.

Dr J knew this was rigged!

But really, we need to find a way to get a pick in this draft.

I can see parker game translate better or should I say quicker.. in the NBA...more polished.

I would do it tonight. I'm hoping the kicks trade Melo for one these lottery picks. Before anyone say anything...I don't mind taking a step back. I've seen all I need to see from Melo.

Nah. If it were the Anthony Davis Draft yeah because he was a sure thing. No one this year is tha guy for sure. Too much of a risk IMO

brookdon
brookdon

Nah. I'd take a chance at Wiggins.

@brookdon  I believe its over for Cleveland. Agents and players are flying in n out of those doors in CLE since the King split.

                     Kyrie is one foot out the door..

Can't go wrong with either wiggns or parker...honestly.

@rgm891  Knicks will surely get honorable mention thru-out the draft> as always

@rgm891

Boston's still fine...they got 9 picks these upcoming 5 years.  Half of them will probably be traded away for All-Stars and a new Celtics big-3

@BiggieTKB. Best part of the draft for me, besides Denver getting nothing special

Dolan money is not long enough I see.

@Mel Brown

Neither does signing free agents or trading picks for big names.

Every decision is a gamble.  Some are more costly than others

That's prolly the dumbest post I've read this week. I actually had to log in to tell you that.

Healthy since December but Philly didn't want to risk it. Will begin next year

@SandroGuedes. Tyson Chandler can't be any part of a big 3, if that's who you're counting

chudogz1
chudogz1

@lobcity. Wrong! Dolan always trades the pick, not realizing draft picks are great commodities..

chudogz1
chudogz1

@Sandro Guedes. Exactly.. Ever since the Bulls got Rose, when we deserved him, I've been suspicious of the draft "lottery"

BigChiefTriangle

@Mel Brown @BigChiefTriangle

Are we really debating the semantics of the phrase "big 3"? C'mon, lol.  Let's not act like that phrase wasn't splattered everywhere after the Tyson acquisition. Knicks were paying three players perennial All-Star money - ~$56M collectively.

And therein lies the problem - Knicks paying big-3 money to three players that really aren't a big 3.

rgm891
rgm891

@MeloStat301  haha I am kidding man. Chandler is so bad.  That so called big 3 is terribad.

MeloStat301

Nah..centers get paid top dollar in the NBA.

If you are making 15 million you better be apart of a big three.

chudogz1

@Vaughn Allen. LMAO... Woodson, Felton and Dolan!! ;-)

BigChiefTriangle
BigChiefTriangle

@Mel Brown @BigChiefTriangle

Which is probably a large part of why those are far more costly routes - you pay for that certainty (compared to ridiculously cheap rookie contracts).

No player acquisition routes is inherently "bad" - draft included.  What's important is that a solid assessment of risks, value, and opportunity cost is driving the decision-making.  Use whatever combination works to build a legit contender
