Could Giants open season in Seattle?

The Giants could play the Super Bowl champs on opening night.

But, it’s not likely (Eisen).

The Giants and scheduled to play the Seahawls – in Seattle – in 2014. There are other teams eligible to play in what is now the Thursday night opener, including the Packers, Cowboys, Rams and Cardinals.

The schedule will be announced at the end of March.

@cedes Funny.  I was just thinking about how in college football and basketball they often start the season against teams that are just barely division one teams just so they can ease into the season with a 1-0 start.  I certainly hope we don't go against Seattle Week 1 . . . seems like a bad idea unless you are a Seattle fan.  My vote is Redskins  . . . but I'm also good with Texans, Jags, Raiders, and Browns.

I tell you this . . . the Giants better clean up that offensive line because the defense and pass rush in the NFC West is no joke . . . however, I'd like to ease into that part of the schedule.
