The Saints don’t really have a “go-to” RB, utilizing their personnel situationally each week depending on the opposition and the feel of the game. Mark Ingram, Chris Ivory and Pierre Thomas have alternated carries while Darren Sproles, who missed a month due to a hand injury, serves as the receiving back.
Now, Ivory appears to have injured his hamstring and will not be in the mix when the Saints play the Giants tomorrow afternoon.
Chris Ivory (hamstring) has been added to the Week 14 injury report and is listed as doubtful. Ivory displayed explosive running with 210 total yards and three scores in five games this season, but the Saints have used him sparingly. His season-high of 17 snaps came in Week 11. New Orleans will use the three-headed backfield of Mark Ingram, Darren Sproles, and Pierre Thomas this Sunday against the Giants. Dec. 8 – 12:58 pm et Source: Ohm Youngmisuk on Twitter
