Peyton Manning won many a game at Lucas Oil stadium, but it is his little brother Eli that will go down as having won the biggest.
The Giants – the team that couldn’t finish the past three seasons, finished with a bang tonight, taking down the New England Patriots, 21-17, in Super Bowl XLVI.
Eli brought the Giants back from eight points down in the second half, adding another chapter to his “cool under pressure” legacy.
“I would not rather have anyone else,” WR Hakeem Nicks said of Eli. “He’s the best quarterback in the league.”
Tonight, in Peyton’s house, Eli out-dueled Tom Brady for the second time this season on the biggest stage in sports.
Case closed. Eli is the new king.
