SNYGiants Week 15 NFL Picks
Jim Mancari , Contributor
Of course, the week I pick against the Giants, they come up with a blow out win. I guess that’s most important anyway.
Here are this week’s picks. I’ll be using the point spreads from Yahoo! Sports. Feel free to include your picks for these or any other of the week’s games in the comments section. Good luck!
Week 14 Record: 1-3
Seattle Seahawks (-5.5) at Buffalo Bills
Normally, I would shy away from the Seahawks on the road (2-5) especially when they’re favored, but this is their last road game of the regular season. The weird part is that the home team for the game, the Buffalo Bills, will also be on the road since the game is being played in Toronto. The Bills have been a hapless team all year, so even though Seattle will be travelling a further distance, winning by a touchdown is a strong possibility.
Denver Broncos (-2.5) at Baltimore Ravens
The Broncos have already clinched their division, but they are still in the mix for a first-round bye. It’s tough to bet against Peyton Manning, even going on the road to a team that is 5-1 at home. This should be close game throughout, but give me the Broncos to win by a field goal.
Pittsburgh Steelers (-1) at Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys somehow came up with a win last week against the Bengals, but their luck should run out this weekend against the Steelers. Both teams are fighting to keep their playoff hopes alive, but Pittsburgh is coming off an embarrassing loss to the Chargers. The Steelers should regain form and crush any hope for Dallas in the postseason.
New York Giants (+1) at Atlanta Falcons
With a one-point spread, it’s basically a toss up of whoever wins the game. This is shaping up to be a tight game and should be an exciting one to watch. The Giants need to start fast and keep up the intensity, but the Falcons won’t fold just because they have already clinched a playoff berth. Both Eli Manning and Matt Ryan can dominate a game, so it will be up to the defenses to stop the opposing quarterback. I have to go with Big Blue here.
