The bloodletting continues in Philadelphia. Last night, the team dropped to 3-8 sealing the fate of Andy Reid and other powers that be. This morning, we found out that WR Desean Jackson will miss the remainder of the season with broken ribs.
This afternoon the team dropped a bombshell. They released two-time Pro Bowl DE Jason Babin.
Babin led team with 5.5 sacks. Had 18 last year, was a Pro Bowler. Signed five-year, $28 million contract with Eagles last year.

“We appreciate everything that Jason has given this team over the last couple of years,” head coach Andy Reid said in a statement. “We wish him all the best as he continues his career. By releasing him today, this gives us an opportunity to give more playing time to some of younger guys in the defensive line rotation.”
