NFC East Roundup: ‘Boys, Eagles, ‘Skins readying for camp

John Fennelly, Lead Writer

Two weeks from today, the Giants will report for training camp. Until then, you can wait it out with us in the air conditioning. It’s going to be a hot week here in the NYC area.

What’s going on in the NFC East these days? Funny you should ask…

Dallas: The Cowboys would like move WR Dez Bryant around this season. MLB Rolando McClain was signed after Sean Lee was placed on season-ending IR. Justin Durant and Kyle Wilbur are likely starters at LB when camp opens. Holdout QB Kyle Orton is expected to show as well.

Philadelphia: OT Lane Johnson has tested positive for PEDs. The Eagles are still looking to replace DeSean Jackson at KR. The offense may look potent, but safety and placekicker are still major question marks on the roster. (CSNPhilly)

Washington: The Redskins are in for a more physical training camp this summer under new head coach Jay Gruden. TE Jordan Reed is a top breakout candidate. Jerry Rice, Jr. was signed as a UDFA. (Real Redskins)
