T2 visits with Panthers

Former Giants CB Terrell Thomas has visited with the Carolina Panthers.

The Giants have obviously moved on from T2 with the recent signings of DRC and Walter Thurmond. Thomas is one of the few NFL players to successfully return to the playing field after undergoing three ACL tears, surgeries and rehabs.

I would like to see T2 back, but at this point it seems highly unlikely. I hope he gets a payday from another team and otherwise wish him the best.

He's a great guy and I'd love to see the Giants bring him back.  However, if that's not in the cards I wish him all the best and hope he makes the Pro Bowl.

I am sort of surprised the giants didn't bring back T Thomas.  I mean they gave him a contract without any assurances that he would recover and he played fairly well probably there best corner besides Prince last season.

I am wondering if T2 comments about Michael Sam rubbed the organization the wrong way and they decided to move on without him.  You gotta be careful how honest you decide to be sometimes could cost you a job.

@jaymanjay T2 was a nice feel good story in a very down year for the Giants and he played ok. Giants obviously wanted to go younger and more reliable rather than bank on his knee holding up for another full season. And I can't say I disagree given the other CBs they signed.
