Reese signed a lot of hope players. Players that you hope they will be what they were or players you hope will play well. Only liked 2 signins and 1 was a resigning. This team still has huge holes on the DL, CB and WR. Schwartz was a very nice signing, I love Beason but can he stay healthy, Walton has been away from the game for 2 years. Thurmond has never played a full 16 and was on enhancements so what exactly are you getting.

You have no true #1 WR, no true #1 TE, DT is clearly lacking, and the pass rush may be worse then it was last year. This team as of right now is no better then last year.

Jerry Reese is keeping signings on a low key .....only one is a real good one. Schwartz as a free agent. Not one is a  game  breaker and we need a game breaker probably a wide out.

You forgot Walter Thurmond, sign DRC get one more OL signed and used your first two picks in the draft on Mike Evans and a TE  then use the rest of the draft on DL and Reese will get an A. Eli needs that big, fast physical WR again and it boggles my mind why they haven't gotten him one since Plax left.

I'm giving Reese a B- so far. The GMen still have issues at CB, DE, TE and C. I like the moves so far a lot, and I'm still not sure why they have not signed a center (I don't count Walton). Could Mack still be in play? If not, why haven't they pounced on De La Puente? It seems that Reese has faith in JPP returning to excellence and Moore taking a HUGE step forward next year. But I don't. Wish the Giants would call Jared Allen. As for DRC, I don't seem him coming here and I'm not sure I would even want him. And at this point, I guess there is no TE talks so I have no idea what's happening there. Add that all together and you get a B-. Hopefully that changes.

@Peter Sinapi  Thurmond was added after we posted. If JD Walton i healthy, the Giants got a steal. Remember, you have to get a center that matches what you're trying to do on offense. EDS was the best choice, but the Giants were outbid ny Tampa

@Peter Sinapi  Listen...I guess u can call it anywhere from an A to a C. No one really knows until it plays out and find out which ones play out well or badly. I think every signing has the potential for success or failure but only time will tell. My favorite has been resigning Beason and Schwartz the guard. My least favorite is Painter don't see the reasoning behind that one. The big wild card is gonna be Jennings. We saw first hand what kind of runner he can be and if he can bring that sort of downhill style with the ability to break one with a hopefully healthy Wilson as a change of pace Sproles type they have the makings of a pretty dynamic combo but again only time will tell.

I read on PFW (I believe) that Walton was rated as one of worst Centers in the NFL prior to getting hurt. Perhaps he is a stopgap, assuming they draft a center. I'm ok with it but I thought for sure one of those 3 centers would be in Big Blue by now. Side note - Kenny Britt on a cheap 1 year deal anyone?

@SNYGiants @Peter Sinapi  What makes Walton the answer? Like Bass he's barely played in 2 years?  I don't feel good about going into the season penciling him in as the starting center.  eek!

Jennings wasn't exactly a game breaker in Jax. Considering what Tate got, I think Jennings was a great day 1 move.
