According to reports, restricted free agent wide receiver Victor Cruz was seeking a deal from the Giants in the $10-11 million per year range under his previous agent.
It is unknown what Cruz, who will now be represented by CAA and Roc Nation Sports headed by rapper Jay-Z, is now asking for.
The Giants previously offered the wideout a long-term deal worth $7 million annually, in addition to $20 million in guaranteed money. The standard set for wideouts was set earlier in the off-season when the Chiefs signed Dwayne Bowe to a five-year, $56 million contract.
