Free-agent wide receiver Domenik Hixon will visit with the Oakland Raiders, according to CBS Sports.
It is the first visit we’ve heard of for Hixon since he turned down an offer from the Lions at the start of free agency.
Oakland must find a way to replace former first-round pick Darrius Heyward-Bey, who is a free agent in this off-season. Hixon can not only help out a young receiving corps, but has the ability to return both punts and kicks.
Hixon is one of the top wide receivers still available on the market, along with Julian Edelman (New England), Kevin Walter (Houston), Heyward-Bey, Laurent Robinson (Jacksonville), Randy Moss (San Francisco), David Nelson (Buffalo), Brandon Stokley (Denver), Steve Breaston (Kansas City), Braylon Edwards (NewYork), Devery Henderson (New Orleans) and Titus Young (Detroit).
