John Fennelly, Lead WriterJohn Mara wants the Giants to get bigger and more imposing in the trenches. Hankins will help them do that. The team has a glut of DTs on the roster now, but none that have the pedigree and upside of Hankins. He is a space-eater extraordinaire. A run-stuffer, who can also get into the opposing backfield.
Bravo, Giants Two picks in, they have satisfied two glaring needs.
