Monday Notes: 3-0 Giants still a work in progress

John Fennelly, Lead Writer

The Giants will be back at practice today (sans fans) where head coach Tom Coughlin will be able to speak frankly to the players during practice. Today’s session will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday’s practices will be held at noon. The club will hold a closed workout on Thursday and then play the Jets at MetLife on Saturday Night. The Giants are the away team.

Big Blue may be 3-0 this preseason, but hey are not without their problems. Another inept showing by the first team offense and multiple injuries are just a few of the issues head coach Tom Coughlin is dealing with this morning.

“It is obvious,” said Coughlin on a conference call Sunday when asked what speicifically the offense needs to work on. “I think we have to work on a lot of things. Basically we have to work on everything.”

The injuries are mounting. CB Prince Amukamara will be going for an MRI on his groin today. S Cooper Taylor could be headed to IR with a foot injury.

I see Very Bad O-LINE Problems.....

... and as the Season goes on....

.............. the worse...... they will get.....

add injuries,

and NO Chemistry,

and the OFFENSE will have NO Rhythm,

NO Timing......

....... REESE never FULLY addressed the O-Line....

this is WHY,

OL- Z. Martin was the RIGHT Pick....

..... this DRAFT was WR heavy....

there where other WR to be Had......

REESE has Produced a SUB-PAR ROSTER,

......... and a FAILURE to understand the PROBLEM,

wasn't KILLDRIVE,

But REESE's DRAFTing & TUNNEL Vision.......

will ONLY WASTE,

........................... ELI's Golden Years.....

This offense looks dreadful.....but i remember in 07 we had a first time defensive coordinator whose defense gave up 80 points after two weeks and the giants were "dead, done, cant stop a nosebleed" yada yada yada.....what happened again?.....not saying that will happen again but its way early and people need to relax and let things play out a little....
