Jason Pierre-Paul

JPP may not need surgery

Jason Pierre-Paul’s shoulder rehabilitation is “going well” (Rock).

JPP will likely not need surgery on his shoulder.

Pierre-Paul played in just 11 games in 2013 before being sidelined with a shoulder injury for the rest of the season.

The defensive end had surgery on a herniated disk in his neck in June 2013, but was able to return for Week 1 against the Cowboys, where he recorded one sack. He was named the NFC Defensive Player of the Week after his interception return for a touchdown against the Packers on November 17.

He played in one more game, with just one tackle against Dallas, before shutting it down for the season.
