Jason Pierre-Paul has been activated off the physically unable to perform list and has been cleared to practice, the team announced.
“I don’t have pain,” Pierre-Paul told the media on Monday morning. “That pain is gone.”
JPP has been on the PUP list due to surgery on a herniated disk in his back.

This is no surprise as we signaled this was coming in an earlier post. The Giants needed to do this before Saturday when the final rosters are due. This in no way means JPP is ready to practice. As he himself has said, he’s going to play only when he’s ready to play.
But this is the first step.
