I’m honestly expecting a slugfest. I’m fully aware that the Giants have scored a total of just seven points the last two weekends, but the Eagles defense is filled with holes, especially in the secondary. My guess is that the Giants will still try to establish the run but only to set up big plays downfield. This is the week where I foresee Eli Manning breaking out and hitting all his weapons.
While the Eagles may be 1-3, they’ve shown they can score points offensively with Chip Kelly’s fast-paced system. I expect that continue, but Michael Vick is known for turning the ball over. But Vick is also known for giving the Giants fits, and that’s why I’m expecting a wild affair at MetLife. It’s going to be a real war out there, since both teams will be fighting for their lives – which is a shame since it’s still very early in the season. This is the week the Giants finally get into the win column. It won’t be easy, and it likely won’t be pretty as far as an all-around effort. But getting win No. 1 is the first step to turning this season around…..Giants 34, Eagles 30
