Giants Statistical Notes and Nuggets

PK Lawrence Tynes leads the NFL in scoring with 54 points. He has hit 173 consecutive PATs and is second among Giants’ kickers all-time in that area with 189 (Pete Gogolak, 268). Tynes’ 102 FGs rank fourth in Giants’ history behind Gogolak (123), Brad Daluiso (126) and Joe Danelo (104).

Last year, the Giants traveled to San Francisco in November. This year, they are going out there in October, which is Eli’s best month. For his career,┬áManning is 24-5 (.828) as a starter in October, the best mark among quarterbacks who began their career in the Super Bowl era.

Eli is currently second in the NFL with 1,579 yards. The Saints’ Drew Brees lead the league with 1,720. Eli will be starting his 136th consecutive game (including playoffs) at QB, the longest current streak in the league and third-longest by a QB in NFL history. San Diego’s Philip Rivers is next with 107.

WR Victor Cruz will play in his 25th career game when the Giants face the 49ers on Sunday. In 24 career games, Cruz has totaled 119 receptions for 1,974 receiving yards and can challenge the top five for the most receptions and receiving yards among players in their first 25 games in NFL history.
