Terrell Thomas, Antrel Rolle, Corey Webster and Hakeem Nicks are notably absent from the report.
John Fennelly, Lead WriterTom Coughlin said just moments ago that Cruz and JPP will be practicing as if they are going to play this week.
“The answer to your first questions are yes and yes,” Coughlin said. “Is Cruz going to practice and is JP going to practice….there will be some ability to withhold from practice but hey are full speed ahead.”
On of he knows what he can expect from JPP: ‘I will at the end of the week.”
On if the Giants will add another safety: ”It never stops in terms of the search, so we’ll see where we are.”
On C David Baas (knee): “A little bit better every day, we’ll see.”
On rookie DE Damontre Moore who missed the final three preseason game:
” It’s not easy. He’s been in every meeting, every jog thru done these types of things but if there’s any question he’s missed a lot of time.”
