Giants pre-season scheduled released

The NFL released its pre-season schedule this afternoon, which will officially kick off with the annual Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio, with the Dallas Cowboys facing off against the re-tooled Miami Dolphins.

The New York Giants will open up their pre-season schedule with a road contest against the Pittsburgh Steelers, a team considered to be in the re-building phase, a rare situation in the Steel City. No time has been announced for the game, and it will be played between Aug. 8-11,

The team will hit primetime on Sunday, Aug. 18 when they host sophomore QB Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts. The game is slated for 8 p.m. on FOX.

Week 3, with games played between Aug. 22-25, will mark the annual Big Apple match-up of the Jets and Giants. Though the game will obviously be played at Met Life Stadium, Big Blue will be the home team.

The Giants conclude the pre-season with a tune-up in Foxborough against the New England Patriots. The game will be played either Aug. 29 or 30.
