NFL.com has released their first post-2013 NFL Draft power rankings.
The New York Giants saw their ranking fall seven places to No. 17 out of 32 teams. This significant depreciation is mostly due to the unknowns surrounding Jason Pierre-Paul’s recovery from back surgery earlier this month, as well as the Victor Cruz contract situation. Adding to New York’s uncertainties is Hakeem Nicks, who has a lingering foot injury and is in the midst of contract negotiations.
Topping the latest power rankings are the Seattle Seahawks, who improved one spot following the injury of Michael Crabtree of the 49ers.
