Good afternoon all. It’s drivetime and we know you’re busy. Let us update you with the news of the day…
Giants QB Eli Manning is worried his favorite target from 2012 will be employed elsewhere in 2013
“I check the papers every morning to make sure no one else has offered him a contract,” Manning said of WR Victor Cruz on WFAN this morning. “It is nerve-wracking though. He is anxious. I know he has been dealing with this contract issue for a long time. I know he wants it just settled and wants to get back to playing football and just worrying about that.”
Tom Coughlin doesn’t believe Cruz will receive any offers this offseason…
Coughlin doesn't share Steve Tisch's view that Victor Cruz will get an offer in restricted FA.—

Our partners at Rotoworld report that Eli expects Hakeem Nicks (knee scope) to be “full go and running” for the start of the Giants’ offseason program.
“Hakeem is doing well,” Manning said. “Talked to him the other day, and he’s training and getting ready, and he’ll be ready when we start the spring.” The Giants will surely take it easy on Nicks during OTAs, but it will be out of an abundance of caution, and not necessity.
