Aaron Ross (back), David Baas (neck), Chris Snee (hip), Adrien Robinson (foot), Jayron Hosley (hamstring) and Linval Joseph (ankle/knee) are all out for Sunday’s game against the Eagles. Corey Webster (groin) is listed as doubtful. Cullen Jenkins (knee/achillies) and Louis Murphy (ankle) are questionable. Shaun Rogers (back), Mark Herzlich (toe) and Terrell Thomas (knee) are all probable.
John Fennelly, Lead WriterLet’s do some math here. Six guys ruled out and one doubtful. You can dress no more than 46 players and no less than 43 on gameday. Looks like the Giants will be right at 46 this Sunday with little latitude to stock up at certain positions.
At this short notice, the team could place several players on IR and get in some healthy players just to keep the body count up.
If Snee, Baas and Robinson are not going to play in 2013, the Giants have to fish or cut bait on them right now and send them to IR. Players that could be brought in if Beason isn’t added to the roster are Hill, CB Charles James and OL Eric Herman and Stephen Goodin.
