Buzz: Giants set to hire Oregon State’s Langsdorf as new QB coach

It’s unofficial, but Sports Illustrated is reporting the Giants plan to hire Oregon State offensive coordinator Danny Langsdorf as their new QB coach….

From Chris Burke of SI.com:

Danny Langsdorf is expected to leave his position as Oregon State’s offensive coordinator after being offered a job as the New York Giants’ quarterbacks coach, a source told SI’s Lindsay Schnell. The 41-year-old Langsdorf, who has been with Oregon State since 2005, previously worked with new Giants offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo for the Saints in 2004.

The Giants would not confirm Langsdorf’s move, though a member of the organization stated that Langsdorf had been in for an interview.

This puts the future of current QB coach Sean Ryan on the outs, or at least sets him up for a demotion.

Looks as of Coughlin is setting up the so-called coaching tree.

the new coaches are so young tc will probably give them bed checks the first few months until they prove their worth.

if tc pays attention he might learn a thing or two from the newbies, you are never too old to learn.
