First-round pick Odell Beckham Jr. will practice on an individual basis on Monday.
Beckham, a wide receiver from LSU, has been sidelined since the opening day of camp with a hamstring injury. Beckham will only be participating in individual drills, which includes running routes and catching passes in non-contact portions of practice.
“He is going to practice tomorrow on an individual basis, and then they are going to assess where he is,” head coach Tom Coughlin said on a conference call on Sunday. “If he can do a little more, then maybe he will do a little bit more, but if he can’t then we will keep it strictly with individual.”

No time like the present for Beckham to return to action. The Giants have a glut at WR right now and need to see if Beckham can break things up for them roster-wise. Outside of Victor Cruz and Rueben Randle, who are secure as the team’s starters, the Giants have a heated competition for the remaining roster spots. Jerrel Jernigan, Mario Manningham, Marcus Harris, Corey Washington, Julian Talley, Travis Harvey and Trindon Holliday are all still in the mix at WR.
