Odell Beckham Jr. is inching closer to returning to the practice field.
The rookie wide receiver has missed nearly all of training camp with a balky hamstring. He’s been able to work in limited personal drills, but is yet to practice with the full team.
Beckham was able to plant his feet and turn on the grass on Tuesday, Offensive Coordinator Ben McAdoo said.
“You kind of feel like a caged animal and you just want to get out,” Beckham said of being sidelined (Vacchiano, August 12).
The wideout is aiming to return for the Giants/Jets preseason tilt on August 22.
