Antrel Rolle was carted off the practice field after injuring his right ankle, according to the team’s beat writers.
Rolle seemed to twist or roll his right ankle during practice, before being helped off the field by trainers, and eventually taken away on a cart.
He will get an MRI on his ankle in the next few hours, according to reports.
Update – 4:35 p.m.:”The initial diagnosis for Antrel Rolle, according to a source, is a sprained ankle,” according to Ralph Vacchiano.
“It was obviously bothering him,” Tom Coughlin said. “He’s being checked out. He must have stepped on it. They stepped on each other’s feet.”
Coughlin didn’t know the severity of the injury yet.
“I’m telling you what I know,” he said. “The guy got up and left the field. That’s all I know.”
