Ahmad Bradshaw goes under the knife … again

Giants running Ahmad Bradshaw was spotted in a walking boot shortly after undergoing a minor surgery on his right foot.

Bradshaw, expected to be sidelined for about 10 weeks, had the latest operation to replace a screw in his foot. It mars the third surgery on his right foot, in addition to the surgery he had on his left foot and surgeries on both of his ankles.

At 27 years old, questions are imminent regarding Bradshaw’s future and workload with the Giants. Rookie David Wilson seemed to assume the lead dog role as Bradshaw’s injuries crept up with him late in the season.

In the final four games, Wilson totaled 247 yards rushing and five total touchdowns.

In contrast, lingering injuries limited Bradshaw fewer than 40 yards rushing in two of the team’s final contests. On the season, Bradshaw eclipsed the 100-yard rushing mark just four times.

With the emergence of Wilson and Andre Brown (prior to being injured for the season in Week 10), all signs point to Bradshaw seeing a reduced role in 2013. The veteran is due $3.75 million salary next season, and he has previously stated he’s unsure about his future with the team.

Maybe they could try and win this one. Too bad no one showed up to play the Rangers the other night.

Great to see Carkner and Donovan together again. It's not like they have been dreadful or anything.
