With free agency on the horizon, defensive end Osi Umenyiora has made an agent swap.
Umenyiora has hired Tom Condon and Ben Dogra of the Creative Artists Agency as his agents, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Condon and Dogra represent about 130 NFL players and have a history of representing first-round picks when April rolls around. Among the tandem’s clients: Mario Williams, who received the largest contract for a defensive player in NFL history last off-season.
Other players include DeMeco Ryans, Adrian Peterson, Jonathan Stewart, Patrick Willis and London Fletcher.
How will this effect Umenyiora as he approaches free agency? Well, let’s be serious. In order to maximize his money-making potential, he looked to the agents with a track record of success (i.e. Williams).
