Some things to report: Victor Cruz and Hakeem Nicks were both at Duke University in North Carolina attending the Manning Passing Academy this week (see previous post below).
**The Giants have signed backup center Jim Cordle, an exclusive rights free agent, to a one-year, $555,000 contract.
From Rotoworld: Cordle, 25, appeared in all 16 games last season, playing 49 snaps on offense as a reserve lineman. He figures to back up David Baas at center again in 2013.
**The interest in Ahmad Bradshaw appears to be intensifying, NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport is reporting that Bradshaw is due back in Pittsburgh for a second meeting before the draft. He was not healthy enough to sign when he visited them two weeks ago,and it is still uncertain if he’ll pass a physical at this time. Denver and Green Bay are also said to be interested. Now Cincinnati is stepping into the mix….from PFT:
Per a league source, the Bengals recently has expressed interest in Bradshaw. A visit within the next week or two is possible.
**The Rolando McClain debate is over for now. The 23 year-old MLB, released by the Raiders last week, has signed a one-year, $700k deal with Baltimore. Wow. This is obviously a make-or-break deal for McClain, who is coming off a down year and has had multiple off-field issues.
**WR Julian Edelman has decided to return to the Patriots on a one-year deal. The Giants had entertained signing Edelman, but he left TPC without a contract, possibly not willing to play for the minimum or close to it. Terms of his new deal are that he will only make a maximum of $1.15 million.
WR Julian Edelman will re-sign with the Patriots today. Visited the Giants but is going back to New England.—
