New York Giants News and Links for Nov 27

The Packers are in the rearview mirror (for now) and the Redskins, suddenly a valid contender, loom on the horizon. The Giants are dealing with a new slew of injuries, but have an extra day this week to sort things out.

The team announced they were placing RB Andre Brown (broken leg) on IR with a designation to return. Although Brown is unlikely to return this season, even if the Giants make it all the way to to the Super Bowl, the move leaves room for him should he be able to rehab ahead of schedule. In other roster moves, CB Michael Coe (hamstring), who was placed on season-ending IR on Nov 10, was waived. Here’s some other links for you….
