Giants’ PK Lawrence Tynes has been named NFC Special Teams Player of the Month for October. Tynes tied a career-high with five field goals (41, 37, 26, 43 and 37 yards) and scored 17 points in the Giants’ win over the Cowboys last Sunday.
Tynes currently leads the NFL in scoring with 94 points, 14 ahead of New England’s Stephen Gostkowski. Tynes also leads the league in points per game (11.8) and FG made (24).
