Lock’em In:

Adrian Peterson (MIN) – Peterson is back to 100% and he is running like he was in 2009. He looks motivated and fantasy football owners should give AD a permanent spot in their lineups from here on out.

Ben Roethlisberger (PIT) – Big Ben is a top 5 Fantasy QB thanks to his lack of turnovers and his big play wide outs. It also helps that the Steelers  play the hapless Chiefs on Monday night. OC Todd Haley will be looking to run up the score on his former team.

Julio Jones/Roddy White (ATL) – The Falcons face the Saints last placed defense…Enough said.

Peyton Manning (DEN) – This may be Peyton’s best season ever and fantasy owners that snagged him in rounds 3-7 are the ones reaping the benefits. The MVP frontrunner will carry any fantasy owners team into the playoffs.

AJ Green (CIN) – Green faces the Giants defense this week and they don’t have anyone in that secondary athletic enough to cover Green. Mix in the 2-3 blown coverages a game and you have a 20 pt week awaiting AJ.

Cam Newton (CAR) – Cam Newton wont be able to lean on his running game this week in what should be a shootout versus Manning’s Broncos. Cam airing it out may add up to decent yardage, but will also yield several turnovers. Sit him this week.

Hakeem Nicks (NYG) – Nicks isn’t 100% on the field and Eli Manning’s slump has his value as a Fantasy WR dropping. Keep him on your bench for Eli’s usual December hot streak.

Percy Harvin (MIN)/Antonio Brown (PIT) – Both need to be sat on the bench due to ankle injuries. They are listed questionable in most online leagues so don’t risk waiting until Sunday to take them out of your lineup.

Pierre Thomas (NO) – Thomas is once again part of the most crowded backfield in the NFL and there’s also this guy Brees that throws it around 40+ times a game.

Jamaal Charles (KC) – Charles led the league in rushing as recently as 2 weeks ago. Since then he has averaged 12 carries per game and the Chiefs offensive line is getting more banged up. Charles owners should opt for one of the RBs replacing injured starters. EX. Redman, Green, Jennings, Jones.

Aaron Hernandez (NE) – The Pats running game is getting better and healthier by the week, Gronk is Gronk, and Tom is starting to get comfortable with Lloyd on the outside. The odd man out is Hernandez.

Sleepers on Waiver:

Ryan Broyles (DET) – Broyles was the most valuable player in Norman, OK for 4 seasons and is now showing that same skill in Detroit. Stafford is becoming comfortable with his slot receiver and the 8 targets in last weeks game shows how much his stock is rising.

Vick Ballard (IND) – Ballard has the best fantasy football position, Donald Browns backup. It is only a matter of time before Brown is injured and the backup gets 20+ carries. Ballard has extra value in PPR leagues because of his 5+  targets per game.

Denver Defense – Denver has Peyton Manning, a high scoring offense, and the best pass rushing tandem in the league. That’s a recipe for a lot of turnovers by opposing teams. It also helps that they have the easiest remaining schedule in the league.

Brandon Myers (OAK) – Meyers 2 touchdowns and 11 targets a week ago is a sign of things to come. The Raiders have no running game and now pass the ball 50 times a game. The tight end takes the place of early down runs and he is already a top 5 TE play in PPR leagues.
