More Super Bowl wins: Peyton or Eli?

With Peyton Manning and his Broncos in town next week to face the Seahawks in Super Bowl XLVIII, the opportunity for Manning to etch his name on the top of the pantheon of NFL quarterbacks is within reach.

It will give him two Super Bowl championships to go along with all of the great regular-season accomplishments on his resume. With a victory, Peyton will, in many’s eyes, become the greatest QB in the history of the NFL.

He will also become the first QB to win the Super Bowl with two different teams. But on a personal level, a win next Sunday will move him into a tie with brother Eli for Super Bowl rings with two, and…if Peyton wins the MVP, he will tie Eli in that category as well (with two).

Should all of that happen, there’s still plenty of football to be played by both brothers. Plenty of time for both to return to the big game.

The LoudMouths ask: Which Manning will end up with the most Super Bowl victories?

If Peyton wins the Super Bowl, it wouldn't surprise me at all if he pulls an Elway and retires. I have no proof or information to this, just a thought. After a season he had and then top it off, a Super Bowl win; he would be going out on top big time. Nothing left to prove for him and as I mentioned; he will walk away on top and a SB winner.

Judging by this past season, the easy answer is Peyton, but think to a few season back when Eli won his 2nd, and Peyton missed a year because of his neck.  It was easy to have Eli be the answer.

But how many years does Payton have? 2, maybe 3?  Eli has at least 5, and I see the Giants pulling off at least one more title in the "Eli years".

If I had to bet, I'd put my money on Eli.
