According to reports, Giants RB David Wilson may miss several games with a disc-related issue in his neck. From Rotoworld:
Or at least that’s the Giants’ current understanding, pending the results of Wilson’s Monday trip to neck specialist Dr. Robert Watkins. Said one source, “With treatment, this thing could settle down within a couple of weeks.” The Giants have a Week 9 bye, so they only play three games over the next 30 days. The team’s goal is to try to get the tingling and nerve reaction in Wilson’s neck to “settle down.” Brandon Jacobs and Da’Rel Scott will share the backfield in the meantime. Andre Brown is eligible to resume playing in football games in Week 10. It’s shaping up as a star-crossed, lost season for Wilson and the G-Men
The Giants will be going with a combination of Brandon Jacobs, Da’Rel Scott and Michael Cox until Wilson and Andre Brown (due back Week 10) return.
