Giants rookie RB David Wilson has been named to the NFL’s All-Pro second team as the kick returner. He is the lone Giant player to receive All-Pro honors this season.
Wilson finished second in the voting to Baltimore’s Jacoby Jones, who was selected to the first team.
Wilson led the league in kick returns (57) and return yards (1,533). He also had a 97-yard return for a TD and a league-high seven returns of 40 yards or more.
Two Giants who were selected to the Pro Bowl (DE Jason Pierre-Paul and WR Victor Cruz) did not receive a single vote. JPP was a first-teamer last year, while Cruz received second-team honors.
OL Chris Snee, another Pro Bowler, received two votes. He has been named to the All-Pro team three times in his career (2008, 2009 and 2010).
K Lawrence Tynes, who finished the season second in the NFL in both scoring and FGM, also did not receive any votes.
Safety Stevie Brown missed second team honors by one vote. Brown was second in the league with eight INTs and led the league with 307 return yards.
