2014 NFL Combine Week is here

The annual NFL Scouting Combine is being held this weekend in Indianapolis. The workouts will begin Saturday and run through Tuesday.

Giants’ head coach Tom Coughlin will address the media at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indy at 12:45 p.m. this Friday. GM Jerry Reese will take the podium on Saturday at 10 a.m.

What will the Giants be looking for? Everything. With the 12th overall selection, they’ll have a plethora of good players to choose from.

Who they’ll take is always a mystery. We haven’t heard much about who they’ve courted or talked to from the collegiate ranks. Odds are they’ll select the best player available at No. 12. Can’t go wrong doing that.

As we’ve been saying, free agency is where they have to strike first. If they can fill some glaring needs well before the draft, that will take the pressure off come the first week of May.

3 things i wanna see at the combine:

1. The 40 times of Sammy Watkins, Dri Archer and De'Anthony Thomas, no real reason other than it's just fun seeing guys run super fast

2. The overall performances of LB Ryan Shazier and OG Cyril Richardson, Richardson is probably my favorite player in the draft this year, Shazier has the potential to be a beast OLB and i'm curious to see how he measures up against Mack, Mosely and Barr

3. Who becomes the darling of the draft based just on their combine results, there's always one guy that skyrockets up the boards, i wonder who it might be this year

if the jints evaluate a player higher than the consensus they should try and trade down to acquire extra pick(s) needed to rebuild and still get their man, use the draft to your advantage most teams don't but those that do are way ahead of the game and the opposition.  if you do your homework moving within the draft is not a gamble if you don't it is.

It would be Smart to Trade Back,

give up the 12th pick, for

a Late 1st & a Late 2nd,

in this Draft,

a QB, OT or WR could Slip,

making the 12th Pick,

a HOT Spot....

REESE trades AWAY Draft Picks,

... So, Chances are SLIM---
