The Giants will be practicing again out at QDTC this morning, but whether it will be held outside is still uncertain. Torrential rain and flooding in the area overnight is causing multiple issues for residents in the NYC Metro Area this morning.

On Tuesday, the team got closer to being whole physically. WRs Victor Cruz and Marcus Harris returned to the practice field. WR Jerrel Jernigan (knee), KR Trindon Holiday (hamstring), FB John Conner (concussion), RB Peyton Hillis (ankle/foot), DL Mike Patterson (shoulder), DB Jayron Hosley (foot), TE Xavier Grimble (hamstring) and MLB Jon Beason (foot/PUP) all sat out.

WR Odell Beckham Jr finally participated in team drills on Tuesday, lining up in the 7-on-7 sessions.

“He’s building up,” said head coach Tom Coughlin of Beckham. “He had a few snaps today. Not many but a few.”

Coughlin did not say exactly how the Giants planned on using Beckham, only that they needed to see him practicing in full before before they made any decisions, but did say he factors into the special teams equation.

“Beckham will be a big part of it once he gets back. We have a lot of people trying it. I think that once we get Beckham back out there, I think it’ll crystallize for us.”

The offense is drawing major concern among circles, but OC Ben McAdoo told reporters on Tuesday that there is a plan.

“We have a plan on how we’re going to install, said McAdoo. “We’re going to continue installing and continue to review some things we’ve done earlier. We have a plan in place for that. You never want to sit on your hands.”

So when will it be ready?

“Monday night in Detroit, we need to be 100 percent ready to go. We’re not there yet. We’re making small strides. You’d like to say you’re taking two steps forward every day and one step back. At this point in time, we took a couple steps forward last night. Practice, we had a good day out there and we have to keep making small strides.”
