Thursday Morning Report: Beckham finally practices in full

The Giants will be breaking camp today, which means today’s practice will be the final one open to the public. They will travel to Indianapolis tomorrow and play the Colts on Saturday night.

What you need to know this morning…

WR Odell Beckham, Jr. practiced in team drills for the first time as a Giant and even caught a TD.

OT Will Beatty (leg, illness) and CB Trumaine McBride (hip) will make their 2014 Preseason debut Saturday night in Indianapolis.

The TE derby is still very tight at the moment. Head coach Tom Coughlin says he has not seen a steady candidate jump to the forefront.

“Some days they kind of stand out and on different days different people seem to be doing better,” Coughlin said. “We would like to see more consistency in the whole deal.”

Injury news: WR Jerrel Jernigan (knee) was back practicing, but DL Mike Patterson (shoulder) and FB John Conner (concussion) worked on the side.

KR Trindon Holiday (hamstring), RB Peyton Hillis (ankle/foot), CB Zack Bowman (knee), TEs Daniel Fells (knee) and Xavier Grimble (hamstring) and MLB Jon Beason (foot/PUP) did not practice.
