The Giants begin work today in preparation for their trip to San Diego this Sunday. Yesterday, they were off, but that doesn’t mean the news stops….

The Daily News’ Ebenezer Samuel says the Giants should go with their young players the rest of the season: Big Blue on a 5-1 run after their horrific 0-6 start, and clinging to the slimmest of playoff hopes must start getting increased snaps to several youngsters. This would enable GM Jerry Reese to evaluate how much the kids can contribute in 2014.”  READ

Tom Rock of Newsday reports that rookie OL Justin Pugh has had a solid first season: “Considered a weak link because of his lack of experience at the start of the season, he’s emerged as one of the Giants’ best offensive linemen and looks poised to become a pillar of the unit for the immediate future.”  READ
