The Daily Coughlin: Fairly healthy and heading West

The Giants worked out today at QDTC in preparation for Sunday’s game in San Diego. DE Jason Pierre-Paul (shoulder) and CB Corey Webster (ankle) have been ruled out. It doesn’t appear that RB Brandon Jacobs (knee) will play, either.

Tom Coughlin commented on the injured in his brief presser today…

He believes JPP will play again this season.

On how close Corey Webster is to returning: “He’s coming.”

On CB Trumaine McBride (groin, questionable): “He looks like he’s going to be ok.”

Other stuff….

Thoughts on the performance of RB Andre Brown: ” Andre has played well. He came back strong. We gave him the full time, the 21 days. He responded very well and he has played well.”

Thoughts on S Will Hill: “We’ve always known he was talented and a good football player. Hopefully, everything is in line for him going forward that he can continue to play like he has because he has played well.”

On treating the cross-country trip as just another game: “That’s the theory that has worked the best for us and we have a basic routine down. It’s a little bit different, but we travel on Saturday. I’m not going into detail.”
