WR Hakeem Nicks was limited at practice yesterday, but expects to be on the field this Sunday in Washington.
“I feel good. I feel real good. We’ll leave it at that,” Nicks told reporters. “I practiced all week, I think I showed them enough this week in practice, so I think everything will be good to go.”
Nicks said the season was not a frustrating one (“It’s not over”) and that he is always eager to get out on the field.
“I’m ready to get out there Sunday night. Sunday night football, it’s going to be fun,” he said.
He was asked about the team’s troubles in the red zone…
“There are different reasons. One game it might be one reason and the next game it might be another reason. We know what we’ve got to do, we know the guys that we have and we believe in coach Gilbride in putting us in the right situations to make plays and to score in the red zone.”
