Minnesota Vikings’ head coach Leslie Frazier has announced that recently-acquired QB Josh Freeman will start Monday night’s game vs the Giants.
“He’s done pretty good,” said Frazier earlier. “We had him last week for the first time and he picked up things fairly well. We’re going to try to give him some more this week to see how he handles it. He’s done a good job in the meetings and what we’ve asked him to do on the practice field.”
It didn’t take long for the Vikings to realize Freeman, who was run out of Tampa Bay, gives them the best chance to win going forward.
Coach Frazier: "He has adapted to our system. I like his work ethic. He has done enough for us to say that he is ready."—
