According to Da’Rel Scott’s agent, the Giant RB will miss the next few weeks with a hamstring strain.
From Rotoworld: Scott strained his right hamstring late in Thursday night’s loss to the Bears. With David Wilson’s (neck) status for Week 7 also in question, Brandon Jacobs and Michael Cox are the only healthy running backs on the roster.

This leaves the Giants with just two healthy RBs – Brandon Jacobs and Michael Cox – for the next few weeks. David Wilson (neck) is having tests conducted this coming week to determine next steps with his injury. Andre Brown is still on IR and is not eligible to return until after the team’s eighth game.
Scott is expendable at this point. He has done nothing in his three seasons here and the Giants can simply place him on IR or cut him with little remorse. The major hurdle in replacing Scott is the team has only a few sheckels to play with salary-wise, so some financial maneuvering would have to be done.
