The Giants are down, 13-10, at halftime to the Cowboys in Dallas tonight despite turning the football over three times in their first three possessions.
An Eli Manning to Victor Cruz 70-yard strike late in the second quarter closed the lead to three after the Giants’ offense was nothing short of pitiful for the majority of the first half.
LB Dan Connor left the game with a burner and was replaced by Mark Herzlich who was toasted down the middle of the field by Cowboys’ TE Jason Witten for a TD.
CB Prince Amukamara and S Ryan Mundy collided helmets in the final minute and were both shaken up. Concussion fears for both players. Aaron Ross and Cooper Taylor replaced them. The Giants are down to just two safeties if Mundy cannot return.
Cowboys’ QB Tony Romo was knocked from the game in the final minute of the half with an apparent rib injury after getting sandwiched by Giant DEs Mathias Kiwanuka and Justin Trattou.
The Cowboys lead in time of possession, 21:31 to 8:29. The Giants have run just 20 plays to Dallas’ 45.
