Well, another piece of the puzzle solved. Kim Jones of the NFL Network is reporting the Giants and OL Kevin Boothe have reached an agreement on a one-year contract….
LG Kevin Boothe has signed back with NYG. One-year deal.—

From Rotoworld: Along with LT Will Beatty, Boothe is the second in-house lineman the Giants have re-signed this offseason. The G-Men could return their entire offensive line for 2013 depending on what they do with RT David Diehl. Boothe underwhelmed as a pass blocker last season, but was sturdy in the run game and wasn’t penalized. Boothe will turn 30 in July.

We spoke too soon with our earlier post. Boothe is coming back as Giant fans let out a collective sigh of relief. The terms of the deal are unknown at this time, but it’s doubtful he agreed to take the veteran minimum. Boothe was rumored to be on the radar of several other clubs (Bears, Cards, Jets and Panthers) but none of those teams had apparently made him an offer.
Boothe’s return gives the Giants some room to make other moves now. Jerry Reese is doing another bang-up job this offseason….
